I have a database of clients, customers, and/or other businesses and contractors whom I work with. Will I have to update my database with the new addresses?
Yes. Depending on the type of business you have, clients may contact you directly to update their address in your system. In most cases, however, you will need to update any new addresses yourself. The CPZ Department provides cross-reference tables (available on the Maps page of this website that match former addresses to their corresponding new Uniform Addresses. With the use of these downloadable Excel spreadsheets, businesses should be able to make the needed address changes in their databases.
