How can I change my address with the Social Security Administration?
If you receive Social Security benefits (this includes retirement, survivors, or disability benefits) or if you are enrolled in Medicare, you can change your address with the Social Security Administration by doing one of the following:
· CALLING the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (EST)
· CONTACTING or VISITING your local Social Security office. You can find out their contact information by supplying your zip code here:https://secure.ssa.gov/ICON/main.jsp
· UPDATING YOUR ADDRESS ONLINE using a My Social Security account available at: https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/. NOTE: This online service is NOTcurrently available to people who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or who do not have a U.S. mailing address. However, if you are receiving SSI, you can still check your address we have on record via the My Profile Tab on My Social Security.
